Double-click on the card width handle fills the row. A second double-click restores the last non-full span. Collapsed cards ignore fill. Narrow viewports collapse spans so cards stack without horizontal overflow. The full card header is the drag handle. Links, buttons, and inputs in the header still activate on click.
