The site keeps one global JavaScript package manager value: npm, pnpm, yarn, or bun.
The default is npm.
All CLI and MCP install commands read and write this one value. Do not keep a separate choice on each control.
The value persists in the browser across pages and reloads.
Surfaces: install_cli_menu, quickstart_page.
Compatible with simple_lightweight_and_static.
