Azure `build_native` mirrors GitHub `Swatinem/rust-cache` via `Cache@2`: cache rustup + cargo home under `$(Pipeline.Workspace)/rust-cache` ( `CARGO_HOME` / `RUSTUP_HOME` ) and `crates/target`, keyed by OS, `rustTarget`, and `crates/Cargo.lock`.
Install rustup only when `$CARGO_HOME/bin/rustc` is missing after restore; otherwise reuse the cached toolchain ( `--no-modify-path` ).
Azure `build_test_package` caches the pnpm store keyed by OS and `pnpm-lock.yaml` ( same role as `cache: pnpm` on GitHub ).
Do not cache VSIX or napi pipeline artifacts across tags; git at `ext/v*` stays canonical ( vsix_native_not_from_npm ).
